counterfeits or the "real deal"?

In 2004 I discovered a training system called CrossFit; which had about 4 gyms world-wide at that time. I saw something very powerful in what they were doing and decided to get involved fully by flying to California and taking their instructors course, and setting up a licensed, affilated gym.
There has been been a lot happen since those early days. Now in 2011 CrossFit's popularity has surged globally and many people "want a piece of the pie"; however, they don't want to take the time and spend the money to attend the instructors course and to legally get licensed and affiliated through CrossFit, Inc.
While I appreciate the enthusiasm of the trainers wanting to do their version of what they think CrossFit is, without being licensed and affiliated and make a profit in so doing, they may face legal action for that.
There are only two licensed, affiliated CrossFit gyms in Sarasota, FL. One is mine, CrossFit Gulf Coast and the other is Matt Wilmoth's gym, CrossFit Sarasota.
We welcome others who legitimately go through all the legal steps to get licensed and affiliated through CrossFit, Inc.
People who are advertising CrossFit without being licensed and affiliated will be reported to CrossFit, Inc's Legal Department by those of us who had to do it the right and legal way.
