In agreement with Zach

I like Zach Even-Esh's training methods and philosophy; and soon will be able to train with him in person. His training manuals and DVDs have greatly influenced the training we do at CrossFit Gulf Coast.
In a recent message I received from Zach he mentioned that he only wanted the hard-core people at his certification. I am in complete agreement with him on that, in fact, that is what we want everyday at our gym.
Our training is not for everyone!
The only people who should walk through the door of my gym are those who are prepared to work extremely hard on a consistent basis, as well as be coachable.
If you are not willing to meet those standards, do not bother coming in.
Those who come to train with us will probably work harder than they ever have before.
The results will follow if they do that.
Our gym is not for people who want to come in and "do their own thing". If you train with us, you train our way, period.
You don't have to be an elite athlete to train with us, you don't even have to be in great shape to begin; however, you must have the heart and the drive to excel.
I will not ask anyone to do more that I am willing to do myself; just remember am willing to do a lot of hard training each week (I'm only 60 years old, no big deal).
My goal is to out-work the people I train even though they are a lot younger, in order to lead by example.
Let me make one thing very clear:
if I ever have to try convince you to train harder or more often, you don't belong here.

We beg no one to train, and we refuse to train just anyone who comes in and puts the money on the table.
All serious people who truly want to be in the best possible shape are always welcome.
