Traffick Stompers Fitness Challenege Events

This is a general overview of the types of exercises that will be used in each category:

Novice Level Events 
the exercises will be geared towards people who are either new to exercising or used to very light workouts
  • Event 1-- Fastest time to complete 25 situps, 25 bodyweight squats, & 25 Jumping Jacks
  • Event 2-- Fastest time to complete 50 kettlebell swings (gals use 15lbs, guys use 25lbs)
  • Event 3-- Highest number of ring rows in 2 minutes
Advanced Level Events
the exercises are geared to those who train at high levels of intensity on a regular basis
  • Event 4-- Fastest time to complete 50 Burpee pullups & 30 reps of sandbag shouldering (guys use 70lbs, gals use 35lbs)
  • Event 5-- Heaviest deadlift (straps/belts allowed) in 3 attempts
  • Event 6-- Heaviest load pushed for 40 feet using "Westside Butcher" Weight Sled
Wheelchair Events
-- the exercises will be geared towards those who handle  wheelchairs very well and have good  body control (they will be finalized based on perceived fitness levels of attendees)
  • Light exercises involving pushing, pulling, lifting, & throwing
