I have had several conversations recently with people inquiring about
our gym that have a common thread concerning training at CrossFit Gulf
Coast.
This will hopefully clarify how we operate our gym.
Several times per week we have "Open Gym", which is a time for current
members to hone their skills and improve in their weak areas. It is only
for current members, not a time others who live locally can can just
come in and use our equipment.
Visiting CrossFit athletes are always welcome, as are other strength
athletes, endurance athletes, military, MMA fighters, etc
People who are uncoachable and don't want to attend our regularly scheduled workouts will not be allowed to train at our gym.
Arrogance is not tolerated here!
Our clients/athletes are a close-knit, dedicated bunch and we intend to keep it that way.
Non-CrossFit trainers have been inquiring about working at our gym,
however, we bring up trainers "through the ranks"; which means they
train with us for a set period of time first.
Though I appreciate and respect what others have accomplished, they
still must train with us first before being brought on as a
trainer/coach.
