Got this idea from Louie Simmons' book, this helps you accelerate through the entire range of motion as the bar weight increases as it gets higher. The resistance bands provide less pull from the top as the bar moves up.
Now that my torn bicep tendon is pretty much healed, I can get back to doing more types of lifts; starting back with moderate weight.
