Free community workshop

When I found CrossFit in 2004, there were only 4 CrossFit gyms on the planet.
I got affiliated with them in 2005 and was number 50 or so.
I have lost count of how many CF gyms have opened worldwide since then, I am sure that 1,000 or more is a safe bet.
So now, Special Ops, Law Enforcement, etc. are well aware of the benefits of CrossFit training; however, there are still many who have never heard of it, much less tried it.
In our city, I plan to change that, partly through our new series called "An Introduction to the Sport of CrossFit".
Our first free workshop will be on July 28 at 7:00pm at our gym.
People are encouraged to bring their families and friends to come and learn about this new sport.
I hope to see many teenagers and young adults learn about CrossFit. It can put a whole new focus in their live; plus give aspiring athletes a new way to achieve recognition at the national/international level.
Please let your friends who live in this area know about this.
Thanks!

Learning to do pullups

The pullup can be an intimidating exercise (one most people won't even try to do).
This is how we teach people a variety of pullup techniques.

Great progress with kettlebells

Paul (also known as Capt. Kettlebell)is making great progress in his overall fitness and particularly in his KB work.
Here's some photos of our resident pirate/scientist/hippie/philosopher in action with a 70lb kettlebell and a few lighter ones.
Aaaarrhhh!!!

Short, fast mid-day workouts
